In addition, we incorporate applicable regulatory guidelines and updates surrounding incentive-based pay.

Mike Blanchard and Kristen Kostner will facilitate a webinar on the DOL’s final FLSA regulations related to exemption status.  This webinar will focus on overtime exemption auditing efforts, the types of jobs most commonly affected and at risk for misclassification, how to evaluate available options and the pros and cons of each alternative, recommendations for financial modeling and determining the cost implications, how to address issues related to compression, communicating the changes to managers, supervisors, and affected employees, and implications related to timing and payroll practices.

Mike Blanchard of Blanchard Consulting Group will help facilitate a presentation on base compensation and annual incentive plans.  Base compensation and annual incentive plans have received a high level of scrutiny during the credit crisis.  In today’s community bank environment we have learned that words like balance and risk have to be factored into any compensation plan design.  In this session, we will talk about current trends with base compensation and performance-based management incentive plans.  During this presentation we will also identify key areas that should be factored into an incentive plan  design (who’s included, how much should we pay, what goals are appropriate, etc.) and how to mitigate risk in an incentive plan design.
